How do I Become a member?

Attend an orientation meeting for prospective new members. Complete the international profile application. Obtain a letter of recommendation from a Gulf Coast Faculty Member, and Pay Chapter, State, and International Dues.

Where can I find Information about the Phi Theta Kappa?

You can find information about the Phi Theta Kappa on the internet at www.ptk.org or stop by the Phi Theta Kappa office upstairs in Student Union West room 312; Student Union West Room 274 or Student Union West Room 255. Our Advisors and Officers are also available for questions.

Who is eligible to become a member?

Any student currently enrolled in an Associate of Science or an Associate of Arts Degree Program at Gulf Coast Community College, and must have completed at least 12 semester hours of academic credit with a minimum 3.5 GPA
